Worked closely with the Compliance team to sunset a legacy application and build a new user-focussed web-app. Built out the product roadmap through discovery, validation and collaboration. Focussed on key user journeys and pain point to help guide the initial MVP. Managed the backlog for further iterations, continuously prioritising and adapting based on user feedback.
Product
A Compliance application to monitor and approve trading request with Barclays Bank. Integrated with multiple other apps to help build a picture of activity and guide decision when approving or denying requests. Web and mobile friendly, servicing the entire bank circa 85K employees.
Learnings
Moving from an existing application to a new light weight MVP meant we had to be hyper focused on the key journeys so we could deliver and validate
No additional QA help so had to learn to build and manage test plans throughout the build. Managing UAT across; EMER, APAC and USA.
Integrating with other applications gave my first insight into build out requirements for APIs
